Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The Journal of Emerging Business and Technology (JEBT) publishes original research articles, review papers, and case studies in the fields of business innovation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.

1. Manuscript Preparation
• Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English.
• The preferred file format is Microsoft Word (.docx).
• Use A4 size paper, 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins, 1.5 line spacing, and a standard 12-point font (Times New Roman).
• All pages should be numbered consecutively.

2. Structure of the Manuscript

  • Title Page: Full title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author’s contact information.

  • Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing purpose, methods, results, and implications.

  • Keywords: 3–5 keywords separated by semicolons.

  • Main Text:

    2. Literature Review

    3. Methodology

    4. Results and Discussion

    5. Conclusion and Implications

  • References: Follow APA 7th edition style (examples below).

3. Citation and References (APA 7th Edition)
In-text citation examples:

  • Single author: (Smith, 2021)

  • Two authors: (Smith & Lee, 2020)

  • Three or more authors: (Smith et al., 2019)

Reference list examples:

  • Journal article:

4. Length and Format
• Manuscripts should normally range from 4,000 to 8,000 words including references.
• Tables and figures must be numbered and titled, with the source clearly indicated if not original.
• All figures should be in high-resolution format (minimum 300 dpi).

5. Ethical Standards
Authors must ensure that their submission is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under review by any other journal. All authors should have made a significant contribution to the work.

6. Submission Process
Authors must register on the JEBT online submission system at
https://www.jebt.org. Each submission will undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.

7. Publication Fees
No article processing charges (APCs) or submission fees are currently applied.
